Fine Art

My pictures are available as originals, framed or unframed, and I am available for commission. Many of my pictures are also available to order as giclee prints on a variety of surfaces. Photographs are reproduced to order using archival inkjet inks.

Illustration

I have illustrated and designed several interpretative displays for environmental centres, illustrated book covers and poems and produced 70 graphic illustrations for a field guide. Illustrations may also be produced for Graphic Design projects, such as logos, decorative borders and backgrounds.

The materials I use range from acrylic, watercolour and computer technology to mud and shaggy-ink-cap fungus ink. Prices depend on media and size, and range from £30/illustration or charged at £30/hr, inclusive of consultation fees. Images may also be supplied on CD-Rom.

Displays

Costs for displays are calculated at a rate of £30/hr for illustration and £20/hr for graphic design and consultation. Completed display boards start at £300. They are designed in close conjunction with the client to ensure the accuracy and suitability of all included information. The client provides all written information.

Design

Leaflets, Brochures, Business Cards and Stationary, Promotions, Adverts, Logos, Displays, Signs, Banners, Posters, CD Covers, Bags, Menus, Car Stickers, Wheel Covers produced as print ready artwork on CD-ROM. I provide a personal service for small businesses and projects within a 50mile radius of Barnstaple, North Devon.

I have been working on graphic design projects for 20 years and am familiar with computer aided design (Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, Paint Shop Pro and Microsoft Word) as well as cut and paste processes. I have used my graphic design skills in the production of several interpretative displays for nature reserves and educational projects, bag designs for shops and logo design for web sites.

Prices are calculated at a rate of £20/hr and are dependent on size, colour or black and white, and consultation fees.

For example:
- an A4 leaflet, one side, black and white, including 1 illustration from £100
- Business card including logo design from £70
- Logo design from £50
